Get to know us

Hi! I’m Ali, the owner and hands behind Woods Screen & Stitch.

I started this business in 2023, completely self-taught in both screen printing and embroidery. No formal training, no blueprint, just a lot of figuring it out as I went. I made mistakes (some memorable ones), learned hard lessons, and grew fast. I’m endlessly thankful for the customers who stuck with me through the learning curve and trusted me while I worked out the kinks. You helped build this business more than you know.

When I’m not in the shop, I’m a wife, mom to two kids, dog mom to two pups, and somehow responsible for countless chickens. Life is full, fast-paced, and always a little unpredictable. Which is exactly how I learned to adapt, problem-solve, and build this business with intention.

At its core, Woods Screen & Stitch exists because custom apparel should feel personal. Every order represents someone’s business, event, or idea, and I take that seriously. Nothing is rushed, mass-produced, or handed off. It’s all made with intention and care.

Woods Screen & Stitch is proudly independently (woman) owned (but supported by a couple awesome men), and very real. No corporate fluff, no shortcuts, just honest work, continual improvement, and custom pieces made with care.

Thanks for being here — I can’t wait to make something for you.

The Fine Print (aka the real stuff)

Woods Screen & Stitch is a small, growing business run by a real human. Responses may take a little time, perfection is always the goal (even if it takes a few tries), and systems are constantly evolving. Thanks for your patience, support, and for choosing small.

A Few Quick FAQs

Are you really the one making everything?Yes. From emails to stitching to packing orders - it’s me (with occasional behind-the-scenes help as things grow).

Why didn’t I hear back right away?

Great question. I’m often elbows-deep in orders, problem-solving, or chasing efficiency (or children) like it owes me money. I promise I’ll get back to you. Improving response times is very much a work in progress and always on my to-do list.

Is your business still growing?

Absolutely. I’m constantly refining processes, improving communication, and finding better ways to do things so each customer experience is smoother than the last.

Did you really teach yourself all of this?

I did. Screen printing, embroidery, and everything in between — learned through trial, error, and a lot of determination.

How did I even find you?

Chances are it was through Chad (my dad), Josh (my husband), or someone saying, “Oh yeah — Ali does that.” Word-of-mouth built this business, and I’m endlessly grateful for it.
